Terms of Service

Last updated 13 October 2026

These Terms of Service ("Terms") are a binding agreement between you and 4N Industries, a business registered in India (GSTIN 07IVUPK1863E1Z3, 4nindustries.org) ("we", "us", "our"), which owns and operates Synapsio, including the website at getsynapsio.com, the application at app.getsynapsio.com, and the related services, integrations and notifications (together, the "Service").

By creating an account, accepting an invitation, or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you use the Service on behalf of a company or other organisation, you confirm that you are authorised to accept these Terms for it, and "you" includes that organisation. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

This document is an electronic record under the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the rules made under it. It is generated by a computer system and does not require a physical or digital signature.

1. The Service

  1. Synapsio is an AI-assisted marketing platform for businesses. It can analyse your business, plan campaigns, generate content (text, images, video and voice), publish to connected social accounts, run and monitor advertising on connected ad accounts, and send you notifications.
  2. Each business you manage in Synapsio is a "client". An account can have several clients and several team members, depending on its plan.
  3. We may improve, change or discontinue features from time to time. If we remove a feature that is material to a paid plan, we will give reasonable notice.
  4. The Service is intended for business and professional use. It is not offered to consumers for personal, family or household purposes.

2. Eligibility and accounts

  1. You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into a binding contract under the Indian Contract Act, 1872 or the laws that apply to you.
  2. You must give accurate information when you register and keep it up to date.
  3. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential, for everything that happens under your account, and for the actions of the team members you invite. Tell us immediately at hello@getsynapsio.com if you suspect unauthorised access.
  4. The account owner controls billing, team membership, roles and which clients each member can access. Members act within the permissions the owner or an admin gives them.

3. Your authority over clients and connected accounts

  1. You may add a client, connect its social, advertising or code accounts, and publish or advertise on its behalf only if you own that business or are authorised by it to do so.
  2. When you connect an account (for example Meta, Instagram, Facebook, X, LinkedIn, YouTube or GitHub), you authorise us to access and act on that account through the platform's official APIs, within the permissions you grant and only to provide the features you use.
  3. You can disconnect any account at any time in Settings. You can also revoke our access from the platform's own settings.

4. AI-generated content

  1. The Service uses artificial intelligence to generate strategies, copy, captions, images, videos, voiceovers and recommendations ("Output"). Output is produced automatically, may be inaccurate, incomplete, similar to content generated for others, or unsuitable for your purpose, and does not constitute legal, financial, tax or other professional advice.
  2. You are responsible for reviewing Output before you publish or use it. That includes checking claims, prices, offers and statistics; making sure you have the rights to any names, logos, people, music or other material it contains; and complying with advertising standards (including the ASCI Code), consumer protection law and each platform's policies.
  3. Do not use the Service to create content that impersonates a real person, misleads people about who is speaking, or presents synthetic media as genuine where that would deceive.

5. Approvals, autonomy and advertising spend

  1. By default, Synapsio asks for your approval before it publishes posts or launches ads. In Settings you can change which actions need approval ("autonomy"). Actions taken under the autonomy settings you choose are treated as actions authorised by you.
  2. Advertising runs on your own ad accounts (for example Meta Ads). Ad spend is billed to you directly by the advertising platform under its own terms. It is not part of our fees, and we do not collect or hold it.
  3. Budgets and spend caps you set in Synapsio are applied on a best-effort basis through the platform's APIs. Platforms can report spend with delays or deliver slightly over a budget. You remain responsible for monitoring your ad accounts and for all amounts charged by the platform.
  4. Publishing and ad delivery depend on third-party platforms that may delay, reject, restrict or remove content or ads. We are not responsible for their decisions.

6. Third-party platforms and services

  1. The Service integrates with services we do not control, including Meta (Facebook, Instagram, Meta Ads, WhatsApp), X, LinkedIn, Google (YouTube), GitHub and Telegram. Your use of each is governed by that provider's own terms and policies, which you must follow.
  2. YouTube: Synapsio uses YouTube API Services. By connecting a YouTube channel, you agree to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service, and you acknowledge the Google Privacy Policy.
  3. Providers can change or withdraw their APIs, permissions or policies at any time. We may have to change or remove an integration as a result. We are not liable for any loss caused by a third-party service, its outage, or its actions against your account.

7. Notification channels

  1. You can choose to receive notifications by email, Telegram or WhatsApp. By adding and verifying a channel, you consent to receive messages from Synapsio on it about your account and clients.
  2. Replies you send from a verified channel (for example approving a post, or asking the brain for something) are carried out as if you did them in the app, with your current permissions. Keep the devices and accounts behind your channels secure.
  3. You can stop messages at any time by removing the channel in Settings, or by replying STOP where supported.

8. Plans, trial, fees and taxes

  1. Free trial. New accounts receive a free trial of the Service (currently 3 days). When the trial ends, continued use of paid features requires a paid plan.
  2. Plans and limits. Each plan includes limits, such as the number of active clients and team members, and fair-use limits on AI generation. If you exceed a limit, we may restrict further use until you upgrade. If you downgrade, clients above your new plan's limit are frozen: their data is kept, but they cannot be used until you upgrade or change which clients are active through support.
  3. Fees. Fees are shown at the time of purchase and are payable in advance for each billing period. All fees are exclusive of Goods and Services Tax (GST) and other applicable taxes, which will be charged in addition and shown on your tax invoice. Business customers who provide a valid GSTIN will receive a GST-compliant invoice.
  4. Renewal. Paid plans renew automatically at the end of each billing period at the then-current price unless you cancel before the renewal date. We will give at least 15 days' notice of any price increase, and it applies from your next billing period.
  5. Payment. Payments are processed by our payment partners. If a payment fails, we may suspend paid features after reasonable notice.
  6. Cancellation and refunds. You can cancel at any time, and access continues until the end of the period already paid. Fees are non-refundable, including for partly used periods, except where these Terms say otherwise or where applicable law requires a refund.

9. Acceptable use

You must not, and must not allow anyone to:

  1. Use the Service in violation of any law, including the Information Technology Act, 2000, the Consumer Protection Act, 2019, the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, intellectual property law, advertising and anti-spam laws, or the laws of the place where your content is published.
  2. Create, publish or advertise content that is unlawful, defamatory, obscene, pornographic, paedophilic, invasive of another's privacy, hateful, harassing, discriminatory, deceptive or misleading, or that infringes anyone's rights, or that is otherwise prohibited under Rule 3(1)(b) of the Information Technology (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021.
  3. Advertise or promote prohibited or restricted goods or services in breach of law or platform policies, or make false claims about products, prices or results.
  4. Send spam or unsolicited messages, or use notification channels to reach people who have not consented.
  5. Access another person's account, client or data without permission, or try to bypass roles, permissions or usage limits.
  6. Probe, scan or test the security of the Service; interfere with its operation; introduce malware; or overload it, except under a written agreement with us.
  7. Reverse engineer, decompile or copy the Service, scrape it, or use it or its Output to build a competing product.
  8. Resell, sublicense or provide the Service to third parties other than the clients and team members you manage within your account.

10. Your content and intellectual property

  1. Your content. You keep all rights in the information, files, brand assets and other material you provide ("Your Content"). As between you and us, and to the extent the law allows, you own the Output generated for you.
  2. Licence to us. You grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, store, copy, process, transmit and display Your Content and Output only as needed to provide, secure and support the Service for you, including sending it to the service providers and platforms you choose to use.
  3. No training on your content. We do not sell Your Content, and we do not use it to train general-purpose AI models. We may use aggregated, de-identified usage information that does not identify you, your clients or any individual to operate and improve the Service.
  4. Your responsibility. You confirm that you have all rights and consents needed for Your Content and for us to use it as described, including any personal data it contains.
  5. Our property. The Service, its software, design, trademarks (including "Synapsio") and documentation belong to us or our licensors. Apart from the limited right to use the Service under these Terms, no rights are granted to you.
  6. Feedback. If you send us suggestions or feedback, we may use them freely without any obligation to you.

11. Confidentiality and data protection

  1. Each party will keep the other's non-public business information confidential and use it only for the purposes of these Terms, except where disclosure is required by law.
  2. Our handling of personal data is described in our Privacy Policy.
  3. Where Your Content contains personal data of other people (for example your customers or team), you are responsible for having a lawful basis and giving any required notices. We process that data on your behalf and only to provide the Service.

12. Suspension and termination

  1. You may stop using the Service and close your account at any time. To have your data deleted, follow our data deletion instructions.
  2. We may suspend or restrict access, with notice where reasonably possible, if you breach these Terms, if your use creates a security or legal risk, if fees are overdue, or if required by law or by an order of a competent authority.
  3. We may terminate these Terms for a material breach that is not remedied within 15 days of notice, or immediately for a serious breach or unlawful use.
  4. After termination, your right to use the Service ends and we will delete your data as set out in our Privacy Policy. Sections that by their nature should continue (including 4, 5.2, 10, 11 and 13 to 17) survive termination.

13. Disclaimers

The Service and all Output are provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy and non-infringement. We do not guarantee any particular marketing result, such as reach, engagement, leads, sales or return on ad spend, or that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free.

14. Limitation of liability

  1. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, revenue, goodwill, data or business opportunities, or for advertising spend, even if we were told such loss was possible.
  2. Our total aggregate liability arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service is limited to the fees you actually paid us for the Service in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim, or INR 5,000 if you have not paid any fees.
  3. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law, including liability for fraud.

15. Indemnity

You will defend, indemnify and hold harmless us and our proprietor, employees and service providers against any claims, damages, penalties, losses and reasonable costs (including legal fees) arising from: (a) Your Content or how you use Output; (b) your breach of these Terms or of any law or third-party platform policy; or (c) content published or ads run through your account, including under your autonomy settings.

16. Governing law and disputes

  1. These Terms are governed by the laws of India.
  2. The parties will first try in good faith to resolve any dispute through discussion for 30 days after written notice.
  3. If it is not resolved, the dispute will be finally settled by arbitration under the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996, by a sole arbitrator appointed by mutual agreement (or otherwise under that Act). The seat and venue of arbitration will be New Delhi, India, and the proceedings will be in English.
  4. Subject to the above, the courts at New Delhi, India have exclusive jurisdiction, including for interim relief.

17. General

  1. Changes to these Terms. We may update these Terms. For material changes, we will notify you by email or in the app at least 15 days before they take effect. Continued use of the Service after the effective date means you accept the updated Terms.
  2. Force majeure. We are not liable for delays or failures caused by events beyond our reasonable control. These include natural disasters, epidemics, war, government action, internet or power failures, and outages or policy changes of third-party platforms and providers.
  3. Assignment. You may not assign these Terms without our written consent. We may assign them in connection with a reorganisation, merger or sale of the business, with notice to you.
  4. Severability and waiver. If any provision is held invalid, the rest remains in effect. Failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver.
  5. Entire agreement. These Terms, the Privacy Policy and any order or plan terms you accept form the entire agreement between you and us about the Service.
  6. Notices. We send notices to the email address on your account. You can send notices to us at hello@getsynapsio.com.

18. Grievance redressal and contact

If you have a complaint about the Service, content on it, or these Terms, write to our Grievance Officer at hello@getsynapsio.com with the subject "Grievance". We will acknowledge your complaint within 24 hours and aim to resolve it within 15 days of receipt, in line with the Information Technology (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021.
